CoolTan Arts (longstanding members of the NIACEdefinition mental health networkbelieves mental well-being is enhanced by the power of creativity and invites you to join us for the Largactyl Shuffle LGBT History Walk  - sashay through queer Southwark!

En route, we will discover the hidden histories of local LGBT figures and stop for short talks, games and frolics. Discover how LGBT people are portrayed in old ballads and stories, learn about the radical Brixton Faeries and Southwark’s ‘passing’ men and women.

On the way we will visit the site of London’s first gay disco and the Cross Bones Cemetery.  There will also be the chance to try Voguing and to learn the secret gay language of Polari. FANTABULOSA!

Come along to meet new people and learn more about the area. CoolTan Arts Largactyl Shuffle is a free guided walk for mental and physical wellbeing, though art exercise, humour and history.
