What?

We worked with a group of tutors to develop and pilot teaching resources which embed LGBT at a range of levels

With a focus in the ESOLdefinition curriculum and transferability tested in Essential Skills and Humanities
Why?

To support and encourage tutors to embed an equality strand that is often neglected, particularly at entry levels

To challenge assumptions that LGBT is “too difficult” for some “communities of learners”

To support the development of resources for the sector
How?

Tutors volunteered to be part of the project and were paid a small fee for development of resources

1-2-1 support and staff development was provided
